YES Hosted Student Application Distribution to Begin Thursday, February 25th

Dear Hosting Volunteers,

I hope this message finds you well! As many of you have been eager to view Sponsored Programs student applications, I'm pleased to announce that the distribution of YES hosted student applications will begin tomorrow, February 25th. The distribution process for YES and FLEX students has been finalized by the Hosting Advisory Group, and a description can be found on the AFS Wiki at the following link: 2010 YES and FLEX Hosting Application Management Process.

YES and FLEX applications will be assigned to Nationally Available status on a rolling basis as they are reviewed. You can refer to the following checklist for how to retrieve these applications in Global Link: How to Search for YES and FLEX Applications.

Just as with core students, you can submit requests for Sponsored Programs students to be placed on Hold, Placed Without Papers, or School Placed. On May 1st the students will be allocated among the 5 gateway regions, and will be available to Community Place via a round robin draft. Please refer to the description posted on the AFS Wiki for further details.
