Volunteer Leadership Needed at the NVA and for National Council Positions

National Volunteer Assembly (NVA) – At Large Delegates NEEDED

NVA – our assembly where AFS USA delegates vote on chosen issues, connect with fellow volunteers, meet governing boards and elect new National Council Members. The 2010 National Volunteer Assembly has openings for 5 At Large Delegates. If you would be interested in being a representative for the volunteers in your area, please complete the At Large Delegate Application and submit it to the nominations committee at nominations@afsusa.org.

Deadline for expressing interest: Friday, February 5th.

LEADERS NEEDED FOR AFS-USA NATIONAL COUNCIL

In April 2009 we began the journey of building and promoting a volunteer driven organization culminating at the NVA in Denver. The time has come for AFS USA volunteers across the country to consider the opportunity to serve as a leader on your National Council. Are you a volunteer who is willing to step into new roles and participate in the future of AFS? If so, please complete the Application of Intent. This will initiate further communication on what a national council representative does and how you can contribute.

Application Deadline: Must be received no later than Friday, February 5th at nominations@afsusa.org.
