Travel & Orientations

The Travel Department will email the travel notification 6-8 weeks prior to departure. We buy our tickets in a group, so usually we must wait until we have a complete list of all participants before booking the travel.
Both Pre-Departure and Gateway orientations are mandatory for students to attend. Local volunteers will be in touch with students about their Pre-Departure Orientations, and information about the gateway orientations will be included in the Travel Notification along with the International itinerary. Instructions for traveling between the airport and the site of the Gateway Orientation will be included in a document called "What do I do when I get off the Plane?"
