AFS-USA aspires to be a learning organization for everyone who is involved - students, families, schools, volunteers, and staff. In order to build this learning environment, training is offered at the local, area, regional, and national levels to volunteers and to staff. AFS-USA maintains a professional training staff as well as a sizeable cadre of volunteer and staff trainers, many of whom have participated in a five-day training of trainers course. All volunteers and staff with an interest in planning, leading and/or participating in a training are encouraged to do so. Please contact the Training Department to discuss your interest further.
