Support Family

A Support Family(no longer referred to as Emergency Family)is a fully vetted host family who commits to taking in a student on an emergency basis for several days. A Support Family helps the student evaluate the issues. The usual result is a written Support Agreement, which is an action plan with the participant going forward. Support Families are often experienced volunteers with a hosting background.
