INTENSIVE SUMMER PROGRAMS THAT REQUIRE VISA/HIGH FEE

Note: The following countries require a visa for U.S. passport holders to enter for a stay of 90 days or less, or require an entry fee of more than $50 US Dollars.

  • Argentina – no visa, but $140 reciprocity fee upon arrival (New as of 2010)
  • Australia
  • Brazil
  • Chile – no visa, but $140 reciprocity fee upon arrival; minors also need Parent Consent Authenticated by a Consulate
  • China
  • Egypt
  • Ghana
  • India
  • Paraguay
  • Russia
  • Thailand - for stays of more than 30 days

Note: U.S. passport can enter most of the countries below with *no visa* and minimal, if any, fees. A few may require small immigration fees, tourist card, or airport tax upon arrival or departure.
