Sr. Participant Support Coordinator

The Senior Participant Support Coordinator works closely with the Participant Support Manager(PSM) in developing and implementing quality support for the hosting and sending programs in the Regions. The Senior Participant Support Coordinator works with the PSM and other support coordinators to advise, train, and strengthen their volunteer area teams' capacity to support participants, host families, and natural families during the intercultural living experience. The Senior Participant Support Coordinator acts as additional resource and advisor ( along with the PSM) to other support coordinators, directly supervises support season and administrative staff, and serves as acting support manager in his or her absence. The Senior Participant Support Coordinator also works closely with the hosting manager and coordinators to ensure that volunteer and staff efforts to implement the AFS program especially in regards to ensuring quality support are well coordinated in their area teams.
