On September 22, 2009, the U.S. Department of State published a comprehensive rewrite of its overarching regulatory structure for the J Exchange Visitor Program—its first major overhaul since the regulatory package was recast in 1993. State invited public comments to its proposal, due by Nov. 23, 2009. AFS-USA submitted a comprehensive response attached here for your review.
