Reminder to Include Family Name with Hold Requests for Hosted Students

Dear Hosting Volunteers,

This is just a reminder that Hold requests submitted for hosted students must include the name of the family for which you are requesting the hold in the 'reason for request' field in order to be considered. Until recently this has not been closely monitored due to this field not be editable by vols when Global Link was initially launched. This has since been rectified, however, and volunteers are now able to type the name of the family into this field before clicking 'save' and submitting the request.

Staff will only be processing Hold requests that include the family name from this point forward, so please remember to update this field when entering your requests. Please also remember that up to two students can be placed on Hold for a family at a time.
