Reminder about Global Link Trainings for Hosting Volunteers

Dear AFS USA Hosting Volunteers,

This message is to remind you of the scheduled Global Link conference call trainings available to you throughout next week. Two trainings have already taken place, and four are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week. The focus of the trainings is on retrieving available hosted student applications in your region, conducting narrowed searches based on student attributes, submitting requests, viewing student applications, and forwarding bios to prospective host families.

In the meantime, there are several 'cheat sheets' that you can refer to in order to help guide yourself through some of the processes listed above. You can find them on the AFS Wiki in the 'GL Help, Hosting' section, or by following this link: GL Help Hosting. It is highly recommended that you review these materials prior to attending the training.
