Phishy Emails

Please be advised that someone calling him or herself "Pelti Davis" is writing to people professing to be the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AFS and asking them to be a local representative. If they agree, they are then asked for personal information including a photocopy of their passport. If you receive questions from volunteers or others about this email, please inform them that it is indeed a scam and the best thing to do is simply delete the email. Apparently it is nearly impossible to locate the source of such emails. AFS International is also aware of the situation.
