Open Schools

We know there are schools that cannot accept a foreign exchange student at this time. Please check with your local hosting volunteer or your Regional Hosting Coordinator if you are unsure about your school’s status. If you live in a community where schools will not accept students, you can still be of tremendous help. Below is a list of communities that we know can accept a student. If you have friends or colleagues in any of these areas who may be interested in hosting, send us their contact information at hosting@afs.org and we will be in touch with them immediately to explain what hosting is all about.
