Monthly Contact Monitoring Updates

As of February, 2011, the Quality and Compliance Team will be responsible for monitoring Monthly Contacts for program participants and host families. This responsibility was previously with the Support Department and has transferred to the Quality and Compliance Team so we may focus substantial efforts on improving compliance with Department of State regulations regarding monthly contact. The Quality and Compliance Coordinators will send out reminders and reports to Team and Chapter Chairs, Support Coordinators, and Liaison Coordinators on the 25th of each month and will continue to follow up with local volunteers if monthly contacts are not submitted. We hope to be able to work closely with staff and volunteers to identify the obstacles to 100% monthly contact reports and work towards achieving success in this area.
