Meeting transportation
From AFSWiki
This article describes best practices related to travel and transportation to volunteer and participant meetings, orientations, workshops, etc.
Most participants will drive their own vehicles or carpool to meetings. For those who are driving, make sure they have a few simple pieces of information, including directions and a map to the training site and parking instructions. If you believe carpooling will be helpful, you may also want to maintain a list of participants who have indicated they would like to share rides. You can share this information among participants as they request it.
If participants arrive by means other than a car, keep a list of scheduled arrival times and possibly assist in connections from the train station or bus depot to the meeting site.
