A mediawiki article is the most central feature of the wiki software.
An article should be considered distinct from categories and templates, which are separate features of mediawiki.
The vast majority of the content found on AFS Wiki is found within articles. Primarily, the content of an article is plain text, but may also display images, and even sound.
