Making AFS Communicating Easy
From AFSWiki
The National Council (nationalcouncil@afsusa.org) and its Communications Committee (communications@afsusa.org) are working hard to ensure that communications within AFS are open and timely. There are two new tools for you to use:
- Communications Map, which highlights communications options and shows the most common methods of communicating.
- Communications Resources Flow Chart, a chart that helps you determine what area of AFS to contact for various topics
You’ll note that on the “Resources” document, e-mail addresses are generic. We’re consciously moving to this approach not to be less personal, but to be more efficient. These e-mail addresses are monitored regularly, and won’t change as staff members or volunteers change responsibilities. You may not always receive a “same-day” response from each area, but it will be timely.
Please let us know your thoughts or offer ideas for future revisions at communications@afsusa.org.
