AFS-USA Volunteer Position Description

Local Consultant - Medical

Provide guidance and advice to the Team Support Coordinator and/or Support Staff in support cases based on his/her profession. This may include taking an active role in treating the student involved, but may simply serve in an advisory role.

Responsible to: Team Support Coordinator and/or Support Staff

Time Required:

• Varies greatly. Some years none, others could be roughly five hours per year or more if actually treating the student.
• No length of service required.

• Medical Doctor

• Medical Doctor

  • Participant Support Coordinator
  • Participant Support Manager
• Volunteer
  • Team Support Coordinator
  • Team Chair
