Liaison Training Coordinator
Contents |
Objective:
Provide Student Family Liaison Training and document that training via sign in sheets or the Activity Module in Global Link.
Responsibilities:
Organize and deliver Liaison training. Ensure that the training is documented in compliance with AFS Standards and Department of State regulations.
Time Required:
- 8 hours
- 1 month
Responsible to:
Support Coordinator, Team Chair or Regional Staff.
Competencies Required:
- Good organizational skills
- Able to set and honor commitments
- Well-developed communication skills
- Able to follow-up in a timely manner when information is needed/missing
- Basic computer skills, email, and internet access
Training:
- Liaison Training Coordinators will be provided with training, materials, and on-going support from a designated AT volunteer and/or AFS staff member.
- Peer-to-peer training and/or mentoring is available.
