Hosted student

From the perspective of AFS-USA, the term hosted student refers to any participant from abroad, currently being hosted in the USA. This term is frequently confused with sendee. A participant from the USA would be referred to as a sendee in the USA, and referred to as a hosted student in the AFS Partner country.
