Host family recruiter

There are plenty of assignments related to hosting that can be delegated by the Team Hosting Coordinator to local volunteers:

Local volunteers are often the best person to help find host families in their niche of the woods.
Volunteers can post flyers about the need to host incoming students as many of our host families are found by someone seeing a flyer on hosting.
Volunteers can work with local newspapers to encourage an article about AFS.
Coordinate with Team Hosting Coordinator to send information to Parent or PSTA newsletter editors, and to get publicity to all junior and senior high schools. In some areas, we have found 20 percent of our new host families from ads which future host parents saw in their school's hard copy newsletter.
