Earthquake in Japan Update 1

AFS Japan reports that all 10 AFS participants (none of whom are from the USA) hosted in the Tokyo metropolitan area are safe and with their host families.

Thank you to all of the AFS-USA volunteers who will continue to reach out to all Japanese students hosted in the US today and over the weekend. Our thoughts are with them and their families, our volunteer and staff colleagues in Japan, and all those in Japan impacted by the earthquake and tsunami.
