Country Experts

Country Experts are volunteers and staff members with expert information and background for a particular country.

Add a link to your user page if you would like to serve as a country-specific resource for volunteers, staff, and outbound participants. You may also want to add information to your user page about your expertise (see existing pages below for examples). How much time you devote to your role as a country expert is completely up to you. Some possible ways you might use your country-specific knowledge - help determine the best country choices for outbound participants, answer culture-specific questions, serve as a cultural resource at a Gateway Orientation or during a Pre-departure conference call, help develop country-specific orientation materials for Host Families or Participants, or provide cultural insight into support cases. If your country of expertise is missing, please feel free to add it.
