From AFSWiki
Where do FLEX students come from?
In 2011-12, participating scholars from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine will be recruited by American Councils for International Education.
Students will arrive between July 30th - August 19th. FLEX students will reflect a wide range of socioeconomic, cultural and religious affiliations within their countries, including people with disabilities.
Upon their arrival to Washington DC, FLEX students will continue directly to their host communities. When FLEX students arrive to their host communities, they will take part in arrival orientations with Core students.
