AFS-USA has been a trusted leader in international high school student exchange for more than 60 years. AFS partners with organizations like yours to educate community members about intercultural exchange opportunities.

Through our hosting program, AFS welcomes international students from more than 90 countries, who come to study in high schools, live with host families, and contribute to school and community life in the U.S. Watch a short video to meet our students from last year, and see what they gifts they received by being hosted in the U.S. Check it out here: http://www.afsusa.org/host-family/thank-you-of-a-lifetime/. Through sending, AFS makes it possible for high school students to study for a summer, semester, or year in 40 countries, with nearly half of our students receiving scholarships. In your community, there are local AFS Volunteers who work with students, families and schools through the exchange process.

There are many ways in which AFS would like to partner with your organization which include:

• Asking your members to open their homes and host an AFS Exchange Student;

• Volunteering as liaisons to meet with the students and their host families; and

• Inviting students to talk about their experience studying in another country.
