Civic Education Workshop finalists announced by American Councils

Greetings! We are very happy to announce that the finalists for the Civic Education Workshop (CEW) has been announced by American Councils. Please see below the attachment with the names of the FLEX and YES students who were selected to attend. As you may know, the CEW is a special one-week program in Washington, D.C., for approximately 100 FLEX students and 100 YES students currently living in the U.S. The program will provide an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of key concepts and values that are an integral part of U.S. society and culture. During CEW, students will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the U.S. federal system of government and other important concepts through seminar discussions, briefings, and meetings on Capitol Hill.
Workshop Dates:
- YES program: February 26 - March 3, 2012.
- FLEX program: dates will be forthcoming.
