Arrival Family

Definition: any family with whom a hosted student stays due to the assigned host family being unavailable to pick up the student at the start of the program.
For example: a host family might be on vacation when the student arrives, so he/she would stay with another family until the host family returns.
Rules:
- If an Arrival Family hosts a student a complete Host Family Application must be submitted and background checks completed. (This applies to registered AND non-registered vols).
- If an Arrival Family hosts two students for any amount of time, complete double placement paperwork must be submitted prior to the second student moving into the home.
