Apostille is a certifying stamp often requested by Argentina in order for the student to submit their school transcripts for credit / matriculation to the next grade.

In Georgia, it is administered by the Secretary of State's office. Below are the instructions on how to get this in Georgia (instructions updated as of 2009-06)

How to get an apostille for school transcript:

Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority 1875 Century Boulevard Suite 100 Atlanta, Georgia 30345 Phone: (404) 327-6023

Hours 8:30 - 4:00

Fee is $3.00

The student needs to bring the transcript AND a separate letter ON SCHOOL LETTERHEAD stating "the attached transcript is an official transcript from ________________ (name of school)" This letter needs an ORIGINAL signature AND a notary's signature.
