ALL FLEX Students Now Okay To Contact, regardless of country of origin

It is now OK to allow Host Families and AFS representatives to contact students from ALL FLEX countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine. We have received confirmation that all have been notified about receiving the scholarship.

This means that we may proceed to communicate with regard to FLEX students directly with our partner, American Council, about: Double Placements, Nontraditional Placements, Application Questions/Clarifications.

Families that have completed their applications to host and all other compliance requisites (Read: Families in "Family Placement Confirmed" status) may now communicate directly with their FLEX hosted students arriving for program year 2011/2012.
