AFSWiki Username Standard

From AFSWiki

AFS Wiki Usernames are Capitalized First Letter of First Name, then full Last Name with the first letter capitalized.

  1. If the name has spaces or is a compound last name, be sure to remove all spaces when creating: e.g. Juan Julio Netto would get the username JJulionetto.
  2. Only the first two letters of the login should be capitals. Fred McDonald would get the username FMcdonald.
  3. Use the person's legal first name, rather than any nickname, to determine the first letter of their username, unless they never identify themselves by their legal name and they tell you that's the case. Disregard suffixes such as "Jr." For example, Robert "Bob" Brown Jr. would get the username "RBrown."

Usernames are assigned during the AFSWiki Add New User Process.
