From AFSWiki
A version of the text below, including the actual answers to the questions (not just the references to AFS Wiki FAQ) was printed and given out in Chicago at the 2007 Leadership Summit. The actual doc is also available.
Introducing the AFS Wiki

- Why are we changing the technology? I'm used to using AFS Online.

- How do I log in?
- Navigate to the login screen at www.afswiki.org. Your "username" will be the capitalized first letter of your first (given) name, followed by your complete last name, with the first letter of your last name capitalized. There are no spaces or punctuation in usernames. For example, the username for Juan Julio-Netto would be JJulionetto.
- We have assigned you a temporary password.
- Once you first log in, please navigate to the Preferences link in the top right corner. There, you should change your password to something personal. Please create your own password that is easy to remember, but secure and known only to you. You must change your password soon, because for security reasons, we will suspend accounts that have not changed the temporary password.
- If you need help logging in, send mail to sysadmin@afswiki.org.
- What makes a Wiki different than a normal website?
- See AFS Wiki FAQ
- How do Wikis avoid total chaos?
- See AFS Wiki FAQ
- How do I edit a page ?
- See AFS Wiki FAQ
- How do I make fancy changes like adding links, adding new pages, changing formatting, etc?
- See AFS Wiki FAQ

- This Wiki stuff is awesome, and I want to help advance the project. Where can I get ideas on what to work on?
- Check out the AFS Wiki Current Issue List. Also, if you notice a critical area that needs work but you don't have the time or expertise to do it yourself, a second-best option is to list it here.
- My question wasn't answered here. What now?
- Write to sysadmin@afswiki.org.
