2010 Hosting Distribution Pilot Survey Results

In October 2010, a survey was sent by the National Hosting Advisory Group in order to gather feedback from volunteers about the distribution pilot process.

Survey overview:
38% neither agreed nor disagreed that distribution pilot process worked for their team; 47% agreed or strongly agreed that it worked for their team
32% agreed that GL suited their needs to retrieve students with specific characteristics; an additional 32% neither agreed nor disagreed
36% neither agreed nor disagreed that the CP draft worked for their team
38% said there should be 2 CP drafts, with March 1st and April 15 being the preferred dates
72% preferred to CP only a percentage of their commitment in the final draft; of these, 61% preferred to CP 75% in the final draft
65% preferred that student applications be released on a continual basis as they are reviewed by staff
34% of those with a SP cluster found it useful to keep SP students in Nationally Available
