2010 Host Family Application: Update

Dear AFS USA Hosting Volunteers,

As indicated in previous messages, we had hoped to release the updated online host family application by early this week. We are pleased to report that the requirements for the 2010 application were finalized today, and many forms have been updated in the online application. However, there are many fields that need to be added to online forms that require our IT Department to update. Therefore, the online application cannot be released until these required fields are added to the application.

The requirements for the added fields have been given to our IT staff, and we have been told that the project will take 5-10 days to complete. At this point we are aiming for a release date of late next week.

The fillable Word version of the 2010 Host Family Application is now available on the Wiki, as is the explanation of Important Changes to the 2010 Host Family Application. Furthermore, the following sections of the online host family application have been updated:
